All of my rings are handmade, one at a time by me
~As a metal artist, I work exclusively with titanium
~Only the best air-craft grade of titanium is used to create my jewelry
~All BrinkJewelry rings are available in my special mirror or super shiny
finish, a rich matte-satin finish and a brushed finish.
~All the diamonds and gemstones I set are top quality, usually purchased from a reputable gem dealer from Jeweler's Row in Philadelphia, PA. I purchase only UN Certified Non-Conflict gemstones.
~Each ring is carefully created and inspected to ensure the standard of fine jewelry store quality for your special ring order.

*BrinkJewelry is NOT a drop shipper, and I DO NOT mass produce rings. Brink Jewelry rings are made in the USA. Each ring order is a custom handmade item; crafted using my own two hands when an order is received. I have an inventory of titanium rods to make rings. I do not have an inventory of rings.

BrinkJewerly asks that you read the FAQ section of this page. I do work with customer's to create special custom designed rings. Any questions, inquiries to design special custom made ring, or securing a special gemstone are welcome.

Q. What is a BrinkJewelry handmade ring?
A. Every BrinkJewelry titanium ring falls within being true handmade jewelry. BrinkJewelry rings are cut from a solid rod of titanium using a manual lathe. All BrinkJewlery rings are hand sculpted and hand polished. Because only the human hand is controlling the manual lathe and polishing processes, there are very slight variations from ring to ring. This is the true beauty of a handmade creation. The time to hand make many BrinkJewelry bands require five (5) or more hours of labor to complete; tension set rings can require fifteen (15) to twenty (20) hours complete Your ring is a one of a kind unique work of art. No one else will have a ring exactly like yours! It is handmade!
For more information go to:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handmade_jewelry

BrinkJewelry rings are never ordered or drop shipped from another supplier and re-sold as a handmade BrinkJewelry product.

A. Brink Jewelry has no supply of rings. EVERY ring is handmade and CUSTOM MADE to the customer's specifications at the time of order. BrinkJewelry defines CUSTOM MADE as but not limited to:
~Sizes specified from 0-22 in ¼ and ½ size increments.
~Band widths (Some tension set designs may have width limitations)

RING SIZE INFORMATION
Q. What sizes can Brink Jewelry rings be made? Can I order quarter or half sizes?
A. Yes. Rings can be ordered from size 0 to 22. Quarter and half sizes can be made. Please indicate the size desired in the "message to seller" at the Artfire checkout.

Q. How can I find out my ring size?
A. The best way to find your ring size is to be sized by a local jeweler. If that is not possible, BrinkJewelry will gladly mail you a free ring sizer! Please DO NOT use sizers printed out from the internet, they are often very inaccurate. A wide band will fit more snug. Please contact BrinkJewelry if you have any size questions. BrinkJewelry is NOT responsible for any wrong measurement due to buyer error.

Q. Can titanium rings be re-sized?
A. NO. Titanium rings can not be re-sized the same way a precious metal rings can be re-sized. If the wrong size ring was ordered, most of the time a new ring must be made from scratch.

Q. What do I do if I ordered the wrong size?
A. All rings are made to the exact size provided by the BUYER.
Shop Returns will only be accepted for an IN-SHOP-CREDIT of 60%. NO CASH REFUNDS. All sales are final.

Q. Can you make rings in foreign sizes?
A. Yes, BrinkJewelry rings are available in foreign sizes. Please don't convert the size; send me the foreign size(s) information.

Q. What if my finger size changes?
A. A generous discount is offered for re-sizing a BrinkJewelry tension setting should your ring size change in the future; which is often less than the cost to re-size a precious metal ring. Please contact Brink Jewelry for details.

Q. Can you do a rush order?
A. Please contact me. I can sometimes accommodate such requests.

Q. Do you have a payment plan?
A. Payment arrangements can be made. The cost of the ring can be paid in increments. No rings will be manufactured before payment in full. The shop turn around time will start from the date the final payment is received. Please check the current posted shop turn around time. Payments CAN NOT be refunded as I will be purchasing the supplies, diamond or sapphire to make your ring. Please contact Brink Jewelry for payment arrangements.

Q. Are your rings comfort fit?
A. Yes, all of BrinkJewelry rings are handmade with a comfort fit to ensure a great fit and of course, comfort! All surfaces are hand polished for years of comfortable wear and beauty.

Q. What kind of titanium are your rings from?
A. BrinkJewelry uses 6Al4V titanium, which is one of the strongest alloys of titanium available. The 6A14V alloy is a more expensive material and works best for BrinkJewelry tension set designs. It can be polished to a mirror finish, and is more scratch resistant. The better material is less likely to bend than lower cost rings produced from chemically pure titanium. BrinkJewelry handmade rings are of very high quality!

Q. What are the perks of wearing a titanium ring?
A. Titanium rings are extremely comfortable, very light in weight and doesn't react to the skin. The metal does not contain any nickel or copper, thus won't turn the skin green or black. Titanium does not stain or change color.

Q. Can I be allergic to titanium?
A. Titanium, unlike other jewelry metals, is completely hypoallergenic.

Q. Will titanium rings scratch, bend or deform over time?
A. No metal ring is scratch proof, but titanium is more scratch resistant than most of the precious metals used in jewelry. Titanium is also many times stronger than most precious metals and is much less likely to bend or deform even if under heavy wear and tear!

Q. Can titanium rings be cut off if need be?
A. Although titanium is harder than other jewelry metals (i.e gold, platinum, and silver) it is not too difficult to cut off in the case of an emergency. The cutters hospitals use are made of carbide, which is much harder than titanium and will cut through titanium material with no problem.

Q. What color is titanium?
A. Titanium is a white/gray metal. Titanium is a bit darker than white gold, but a little lighter than stainless steel.

Q.What finishes/textures are available?
A. BrinkJewelry titanium rings are available in a super shiny mirror-like finish, a satin-matte finish and a brushed finish. If a finish is desired that is different from the photo of the featured item, please indicate the finish desired when ordering. There is no charge for specifying a finish different from a pictured ring.

Q. What widths are available?
A. BrinkJewelry rings are available in a wide array of widths. All width requests are the same price as the featured ring. Depending upon the design, most of my tension set rings are also available in custom wider widths. Please indicate any special width desired, or contact BrinkJewelry for more information.

Q. How do you color your rings?
 A. All of BrinkJewelry rings are colored using a process called "anodizing". The anodizing process converts the metal itself to a colored state; it's not a paint, film or stain. The metal actually becomes the color it was anodized. The color will last a long time; however anodizing can wear off if it comes into contact with hard surfaces. All anodizing is done in the design details such as stripes or the inside of the ring, to help ensure it will last a long time.

Q. What is a lab created gemstone?
A. Laboratory created stones or synthetic stones have the same chemical, physical and visual properties as natural gemstones. Laboratory created gemstones are not as rare and are usually less expensive. Laboratory created gemstones have no natural flaws.
Laboratory created rubies are featured in several handmade BrinkJewelry titanium tension settings. If a laboratory created gemstone is featured in a BrinkJewelry tension setting it is clearly identified as such.( ie: Lab Created Ruby) Lab Created rubies have no natural flaws.
Laboratory created gemstones are not the same as imitation stones. Imitation stones such as cubic zirconias may look like natural stones, but may be glass, plastic or less costly stones.
There are NO imitation stones sold in the tension set rings featured in BrinkJewelry's Artfire shop.
