General Information
Are your rings comfort fit?
A. Yes, all BrinkJewelry rings are handmade and comfort fit to ensure a great fit and of course, comfort! Comfort-fit bands are especially recommended for because they are easier to squeeze over knuckles when putting your ring on or taking it off, and it's much more comfortable to wear once it's on.
Q. Can I be allergic to titanium?
A. Titanium, unlike other jewelry metals, is completely hypoallergenic. It will not discolor the skin as it contains no copper or nickel.

Q. What grade of titanium are your rings made from?
A. I use 6Al4V titanium, which is one of the strongest alloys of titanium available. The 6A14V alloy is a more expensive material and works best for BrinkJewelry tension set designs. It can be polished to a mirror finish, and is more scratch resistant. The better material is less likely to bend than lower cost rings produced from chemically pure titanium. My handmade rings are of very high quality!

Q. Will titanium rings scratch, bend or deform over time?
A. No metal ring is scratch proof, but titanium is more scratch resistant than most of the precious metals used in jewelry. Titanium is also many times stronger than most precious metals and is much less likely to bend or deform even if under heavy wear and tear!

Q. What are the perks of wearing a titanium ring?
A. Titanium rings are extremely comfortable, very light in weight and doesn't react to the skin. The metal does not contain any nickel or copper, thus won't turn the skin green or black. Titanium does not stain or change color.

Q. Can titanium rings be cut off if need be?
A. Although titanium is harder than other jewelry metals (i.e gold, platinum, and silver) it is not too difficult to cut off in the case of an emergency. The cutters hospitals use are made of carbide, which is much harder than titanium and will cut through titanium material with no problem.

Q. What color is titanium?
A. Titanium is a white/gray metal. Titanium is a bit darker than white gold, but a little lighter than stainless steel.
